Wet electrostatic precipitator is an electrostatic precipitator that uses water spray or overflow water to form a layer of water film on the surface of the dust collecting electrode to realize the cleaning of the electrode plate. Wet cleaning can avoid the re-flying of the collected dust and achieve high dust removal efficiency. Because there is no rapping device, the operation is relatively stable, but there are problems of corrosion, sludge and sewage treatment. Electrostatic precipitator is a precipitator that uses electrostatic force (Coulomb force) to separate particles from airflow. There are plate type and tube type, horizontal flow and vertical flow, dry type and wet type. When working, there are three main steps: charging the suspended particles, trapping the charged particles in the electric field, and removing the particles trapped on the dust collecting plate. Its characteristics are that the airflow resistance is small, it can handle high temperature gas, the dust removal efficiency can reach 99~99.9%, and it is not affected by the moisture contained in the dust particles. However, the investment and maintenance costs are high, and the electrical properties of the large particles have an impact on the dust removal efficiency. It is mainly used to deal with occasions with a large amount of flue gas.
